An entrepreneur who builds companies, software and photographs, from a family wholesale business in Indore.
Raghav Palriwala is an entrepreneur based in Indore, India, who runs a 40-year-old family wholesale business, a one-person software practice, and a photography portfolio.
I studied management at IIM Indore, where I also founded the photography club and started shooting seriously. In my final years I co-founded DronaMaps, a drone-mapping company that grew to ₹1.2 crore+ in turnover and was named Best Startup by the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister. Around the same time, a summer with an NGO led to Swachhalaya, a portable public urinal that Supreme Industries launched nationally in 2018.
From 2019 I taught myself computer science and data science, started YourTechConsultants as a solo software practice, and from 2021 to 2024 worked as a data scientist at MoneyView, building credit-underwriting and fraud models. In November 2024 I took over operations at Puranmal Sons, our family’s wholesale building-materials business, and began rebuilding its systems with software I write myself.
The thread running through all of it is simple: spot a problem, build the thing, measure whether it moved a number. I still carry a camera for the days when the answer is just good light.
